Steve was born September 1970 to Don and Freda (Hansen) Seekins and was raised on the Silver Valley, Alberta homestead. On May 18, 2023 Della Ring passed away after a battle with cancer and pneumonia. She was 83 years old. Della was born in Olds, Alberta to Albert and Mildred Stelter and had one sister Connie Poor Eagle, recently deceased.
