It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Lynda Lee, at the age of 64, on April 3rd, 2026, in the Cowichan Valley she so deeply loved and called home for the last 30 years.
Lynda was the heart of her family, a devoted wife, a loving mom, a proud grandma, a sister, and a friend to so many. She is lovingly remembered by her children Rory, Todd, and Sarah. Her adored grandchildren will miss her truly, Gabby, Rylend, Orson, and Chloe, who brought her endless joy. She is also loved and missed by her mother Gerri, and siblings Lorna and Steve.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Dave Lee, the love of her life. It brings comfort to her family to imagine them together again, riding his motorcycle, sharing late-night jam sessions, laughing, and surrounded by every dog they ever loved.
Lynda had a way of making life feel full. She was the kind of person who welcomed everyone with warmth, who made people feel seen, and who carried a quiet strength and kindness in everything she did. Her love for her family ran deep, and being a mom and grandma was truly her greatest joy.
She felt most at home outdoors, mountain biking, building trails, hiking, and exploring the beauty of the Cowichan Valley. Often, she was accompanied by her loyal German Shepherd, Chief, by her side. She also had a deep love for music and cherished any moment spent listening to live bands and sharing that joy with the people she loved.
Together, Lynda and Dave built a beautiful life centered around love, laughter, and animals. They ran a dog kennel where they opened their hearts to so many dogs over the years, caring for them as if they were their own. Her compassion for animals was just one of the many ways her big heart showed itself.
Lynda also spent many years working with the Cowichan Valley Regional District, where she created meaningful friendships and touched the lives of those around her. In her younger years, she worked as a lifeguard in the Cowichan Valley, a reflection of her caring nature that stayed with her throughout her life.
Lynda will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and the way she loved so deeply. She leaves behind a space that can never truly be filled, but also a lifetime of memories that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

Lynder was one of the funniest people I knew. You never knew what her comeback would be but it never disappointed. God I miss her!
