January 21, 1926 to March 16, 2022 Ting Yip Ng passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at James Bay Care Centre in Victoria, BC. Born in Yanping, Canton Province, China, she married Woon Wing Ng in 1948 after the end of the Second World War. Anne was born June 23, 1951 and grew up on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Pachena Bay and Bamfield and then Port Alberni. She was mainly a mother and grandmother but she did many other things in the course of her life. She was a carhop, a beer slinger, a short order cook and server, a hairdresser and barber, a retail sales clerk , a crocheter and a scrapbooker.
