Steve Seekins

A loving and devoted husband and Dad, died tragically on May 17, 2023, in Oak Bay, BC. Steve was born September 1970 to Don and Freda (Hansen) Seekins and was raised on the Silver Valley, Alberta homestead. Della Joy Ring   

On May 18, 2023 Della Ring passed away after a battle with cancer and pneumonia. She was 83 years old. Della was born in Olds, Alberta to Albert and Mildred Stelter and had one sister Connie Poor Eagle, recently deceased. Della lived most of her life in Calgary, Alberta and also called Canmore, Summerland and Victoria home. Della had four children. Eva passed away 27 April leaving behind her husband, Karl; nephew and niece, Grant and Megan Loeb and their daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah and niece, Glenna Robichaud. Born in Bochum, Germany in 1930, Eva met and married Karl and emigrated to Edmonton in 1959, living her last 45 years in Victoria. He ascended into heaven April 28, 2023, surrounded by family, following a difficult battle with dementia, at the young age of 67 in Victoria on Vancouver Island.
