January 24, 1938 - March 15, 2021 An extraordinary lady took her final breath, with her daughter holding her hand, in a peaceful room at Victoria hospice, one of the many places she had volunteered over her lifetime. We mourn the sudden passing of Louis Michael Iribarne, born in San Francisco in September 1940, died in Victoria, British Columbia, on December 5, 2020.  A writer, translator and professor, he was above all a man devoted to family. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Sullivan from esophageal cancer on April 29th surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospice.  He fought his illness with dignity and grace, but no treatment could slow down the cancer’s rapid progression.
