November 26, 1956 - April 8, 2022 Neil was a gentle, kind, and serene individual who won over the hearts of many.  Neil was born with profound physical impairments coupled with an unidentified cognitive disability, yet despite these barriers and the early expectations of physicians, he did not let it stand in the way of him living a happy and enriched life. Patricia Mary Genovese passed away in Saanichton, BC on February 24, 2022 after a long battle with MS. She was predeceased by parents Godfrey Perryman Lockyear of Tawton, Devon, England and Mavis Lockyear (nee Openshaw) of Blackley. Manchester, England. Pat was born in Holbeton, Devon, England on December 18, 1952 and lived in Bovey Tracey until immigrating to Canada in 1957. She grew up on farms in Aurora and Toronto. Ting Yip Ng

January 21, 1926 to March 16, 2022 Ting Yip Ng passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at James Bay Care Centre in Victoria, BC. Born in Yanping, Canton Province, China, she married Woon Wing Ng in 1948 after the end of the Second World War. While her husband worked in Brunei, Ting (affectionately known as ‘Ah Ma’) had their first son, Ken, in 1950 and raised him by herself in China until they moved to Hong Kong in 1957. January 24, 1938 - March 15, 2021 An extraordinary lady took her final breath, with her daughter holding her hand, in a peaceful room at Victoria hospice, one of the many places she had volunteered over her lifetime.
