Roy Elvin Green (1952–2024) Roy Elvin Green was born in Nelson, BC, and was adopted into the loving home of Roy and Daphne Green of Kaslo, BC, after the loss of his mother during childbirth. As a youth, Roy spent his summers swimming in Kootenay Lake, working as a lifeguard, and assisting his father on the S.S. Moyie.
