Mom passed away in the wee hours of the morning on Canada Day after surviving 14 years of dementia. As frail as she was, she was definitely a fighter. She was predeceased by her parents, William & Dorothy Jackson, her sisters, Carol James, Alma French & Bernice Vocat, her brother, Douglas Jackson, and her son, Craig Sillars. She is survived by her son, Daryl Sillars, and her daughters, Laureen Wischermann, Sharon Kobe and Deanna Sillars, her caring sister, Elaine Myette, her sister, Fay Levert, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Not only are family members saddened by her loss, but also saddened are Daniel Cook and Dwight Campbell, being two friends who assisted Sharon with lifting, care and companionship over the past several years. We are forever grateful for their involvement. We can only hope that she has gone to a place where she can beam again, enjoy a bottle of wine, laugh out loud, look down and be content that all is as it should be.
