It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lee Gordon Hurd, who died peacefully at home in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, on April 7, 2025, at the age of 96 after a brief illness. Born 16 July 1928, and raised in Turner Valley, Alberta, Lee graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Anne Shuttleworth, age 88, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022 in Sooke, BC with her family close by. This last year has been hard for Anne as she lost many loved ones: her husband, Doug and her only brother, Chris; and sister-in-law Jill. Anne was born on October 23, 1933 in York, England.
