Randy David Machtmes

May 15, 1975 - March 25, 2021 Randy was born in Kamloops, BC and was the firstborn son of Ed and Gail Machtmes. The family moved to Victoria in 1978, where Randy would live for the rest of his life. He joined the military, and spent his personal time giving his support, strength and love to his community, his church, his friends and his family. Peter Paul Kotaba

July 10, 1965 – July 25, 2020 Peter Paul Kotaba, 55, left us suddenly. Peter was born in Poland and spent his childhood in Guelph, Ontario. In 1988 he moved to Victoria, BC and joined the Royal Canadian Navy where he enjoyed travelling the world to various ports of call until leaving in 1994 to pursue civilian life. Capt. GEORGE ELMS SEARS Died in Victoria, BC on May 6, 2015. George was born at home on October 26, 1931 near Sackville, NB. He moved to Moose Jaw, SK in 1947 with his parents and siblings, and worked on the railroad before joining the Canadian Armed Forces. He joined the Navy on March 27, 1951 and served in the Korean War. December 19th, 1937- February 4th, 2015 Donald Brian Gibbs, 77, of Sooke, BC, passed away from his short battle with cancer on February 4, 2015 peacefully surrounded by family. Don was born in Hamilton Ontario to Francis “Tommy” and Betty (Cooksley) Gibbs on December 19th, 1937. Served in the Canadian Navy as petty officer 2nd class in the Naden Band from 1955-1972.
