December 27, 1949 – October 16, 2018 Susan passed away leaving behind her husband, David of 21 years; also her sisters, Maureen (Raoul), Florence (Don) and Heather. Susan worked at the Victoria School District for 28 years, the latter part at the maintenance shop looking after the payroll. And God help anyone who was late with their time sheet. Capt. GEORGE ELMS SEARS Died in Victoria, BC on May 6, 2015. George was born at home on October 26, 1931 near Sackville, NB. He moved to Moose Jaw, SK in 1947 with his parents and siblings, and worked on the railroad before joining the Canadian Armed Forces. He joined the Navy on March 27, 1951 and served in the Korean War. During his time in the navy, he served on the HMCS Ontario, Athabasca, Venture, New Glasgow, Oriole, St. Laurent, St. Crois, Qu’Apelle and Restigouche. George Continue reading
