Jack Rosamond

June 27, 1933 – December 20, 2016

  8. Dear Opal, Deb, Mike and Family: My visits with Jack and Opal in Victoria have been a highlight in my life. We had great times, lots laughs and teasing. On my first visit Jack was in very poor health and I left thinking I may not see him again. Then he rallied and the last number of visits I was amazed at his great attitude and love of life. Of course the pillar of strength he lived with gave him those extra years and so many good times. Opal’s heart is broken now but she can use that unique strength to carry her forward with the knowledge that Jack had all those good years because they were such a great team and couple. Family makes the difference and Jack spoke of you with love and pride.
    I will miss him.
    Love Sue

Of course the pillar of strength he lived with gave him those extra good years. Opal’s heart is broken but she can live with the knowledge that they were a good team and happy couple and there are so many good memories.

Dearest Opal, you and Jack were our best neighbours ever, we truly missed you when you moved west. We were so glad we visited you this past fall to reminisce and laugh like time hadn’t passed at all. I still remember when Jack had to put on his work overalls to go under our deck to untangle Bailey (he helped build that deck). What great memories. We send our most heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and your family. Love you, take care xoxo
