Leia passed away at Victoria Hospice on August 6, 2015. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Terry; Sue, Pat, Tony,  Karen and Eric; as well as good friends. A celebration of Leia’s life will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park Garden Chapel on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice. René Antonio Soto Taylor was born February 8, 2006, in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and died at home in Victoria, Canada, July 21, 2015, due to neuroblastoma. René became a Canadian citizen on October 15, 2014. Survivors include his parents, Jose Luis Soto and Julia C. Taylor, his maternal grandfather, Douglas Taylor, aunt and uncle Brittany and Bryon Brodin, and cousin Lucas Brodin. His maternal grand-mother, Marcia Taylor, preceded him in death. DAYTON, William Walter Passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2015 at age 88. Bill was born in Victoria January 7th, 1927. He had three children, John, Thomas and Kerry and nine grandchildren. He was a machinist who had a long career at CFB Esquimalt. He was an active member of the Union. Bill enjoyed many years of retirement at home.
