Born August 7, 1959, Victoria, BC It is with great sadness that we announce David’s unexpected passing on February 19, 2023. Born to parents Frederick and Kathleen Schmelzle, David was the oldest of three children. In 1974 David and his family moved to Cumberland, BC. As a teenager David was a volunteer Fire Fighter with the Cumberland Fire Department. David also enjoyed drawing and listening to his favourite albums in his teenage years.
