December 19th, 1937- February 4th, 2015 Donald Brian Gibbs, 77, of Sooke, BC, passed away from his short battle with cancer on February 4, 2015 peacefully surrounded by family. Don was born in Hamilton Ontario to Francis “Tommy” and Betty (Cooksley) Gibbs on December 19th, 1937. Served in the Canadian Navy as petty officer 2nd class in the Naden Band from 1955-1972.
