Elizabeth (Betty, Liz) Newson, a recent resident of Victoria, BC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the age of 95. Betty was born in Leduc, Alberta on January 31, 1919, to the late Ignius and Anastasia Pyrch. She met her late husband William (Bill) Newson at Manning Depot in Edmonton, Alberta during WW2 when Bill was in the air force. They were married May 24, 1944 and lived in Edmonton.
