July 14, 1920 – February 16, 2015 Forbes (Ted) Edmund West, 94, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC on February 16, 2015. Ted was born in Moose Jaw, SK and trained as a commercial airlines pilot shortly after high school graduation. Flying was his passion and he was later promoted to the rank of captain with Canadian Pacific Air Lines while still in his early twenties. He was also a longtime member of the BC Aviation Museum.
