Elizabeth  Bernice Bailey

March 21, 1950 – July 27, 2021

Betty passed away suddenly but peacefully with the family at her side at Vic general. She leaves behind husband David; children, Michael (Alex), Roger, Danielle (Barry); and grandson, Ethan. Brothers, Larry Olson, Veral Lanes (Linda); nephews, Brian, Rob and nieces, Lisa and Sandy; also, her best friend, Jessie the family dog.

Born in Duncan but lived the majority of her life in Victoria, Betty worked for the BC Government for over 35 years while receiving many awards for her outstanding dedication and detail to her job. Well respected by her coworkers and loved by her friends. Apart from all the successes, and there were many, family was the most important thing in her entire life. With a strong religious belief, family was life and breath to her. She touched all of our lives in the best possible way. Betty was funny and had certain sayings that would always make you laugh. So finally, to all of her closest friends “you horses ass.”
