SEPTEMBER 29, 1967 – JULY 3, 2022
Dan was born in Corner Brook, NL. Son of Howard and Pat, love of Lanette and her daughter Hannah. Adored by daughters, Courtney Walker (husband Dawson), and Kyra Park. Brother to Nicole Ramage (husband Glenn), nephews: Nicholas, Sam and Daniel. As well as many friends and relatives. Dan will be missed, but never forgotten. Dan passed as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident in Revelstoke BC on July 3rd. Dan died doing what he loved, and he was a hero right until the end. “Two wheels on the ground.”

I worked with Dan for a few years and I have always remembered him fondly – he was a helpful, kind and lovely man and I remember him telling me proudly about his daughters.

To Dan’s family: I was so terribly saddened to hear of Dan’s terrible accident. Dan and I worked at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Victoria. He was always kind and so generous with his time providing a tremendous amount of help with computer issues. We enjoyed many a laugh together. I will remember him with much fondness.

To Dan’s family: Dan and I shared an office at IOS in Sidney. We often spoke about work and about life and he could always make me smile and laugh. We enjoyed each others company. I am so sorry for your tragic loss. He has touched many people at Shared Services Canada in the different Service Lines he worked in. Dan? I will miss your smile, laughter and office air we shared .
