We think of you all every day. Dan had your smile Howard and the love of his bike. Wish we were closer. I know there will be lots of difficult day ahead as every month as a special memory. Your family will always have these.

I worked with Dan for a few years and I have always remembered him fondly – he was a helpful, kind and lovely man and I remember him telling me proudly about his daughters.

To Dan’s family: I was so terribly saddened to hear of Dan’s terrible accident. Dan and I worked at the Canadian Coast Guard Base in Victoria. He was always kind and so generous with his time providing a tremendous amount of help with computer issues. We enjoyed many a laugh together. I will remember him with much fondness.

To Dan’s family: Dan and I shared an office at IOS in Sidney. We often spoke about work and about life and he could always make me smile and laugh. We enjoyed each others company.
