Joan Alberta Leighton (nee Noyes), our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend has slipped the bonds of this Earth and died peacefully under the loving wings of Hospice care on Thursday December 15, 2022. Darryle Black was born in Grande Prairie, AB on July 10, 1936. He grew up in Camrose, AB and spent most of his adult in life in St. Albert, AB until moving to Victoria, BC in 1993. On December 11, 2022, Darryle Black died in his home and went to be with his Lord and Saviour. He was an example of perseverance, a strong faith, and had a cheerful spirit up until his last day. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lela on December 10, 2022, at the age of 71. She was born on September 22, 1951, to Lorna and Henry Rolls in Edmonton, Alberta.
