Mavis Lockyear

Mavis Lockyear passed away in Nanaimo on November 22, 2019 after a long, full life and a mercifully brief illness. Predeceased by parents Gerald and May (nee Ainsworth) Openshaw of Manchester, England. Also predeceased in 1992 by husband Godfrey Perryman Lockyear of Devon, England. Mavis was born in Manchester on February 20, 1923 and moved to Canada in 1957 with husband Godfrey. Bruce Maxwell Hill, MD

Bruce Hill died peacefully at Mount Saint Mary Hospital listening to Beethoven with his wife, Norma. He is survived by sons Michael and Douglas and was predeceased by his son, David in 2010. Bruce was also loved by his stepson, Ernie Kidd; and stepdaughter, Tricia MacLean and her partner, Tom Wilson; Bruce had eleven grandchildren -- seven Americans and four Canadians. (Timothy) Ross Alton went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was born July 13, 1947 and grew up with his 7 siblings in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. In his late teens he moved to Victoria, BC, and built a wonderful family life with his wife, Doreen, and their two children, Brian and Michelle. Ross loved God wholeheartedly.
