September 7, 1942-May 23, 2017 Dave died peacefully at Victoria Hospice with the “love of his life", Liz and his three grown children by his side. He was born in Stockport, England and came to Victoria, Canada in 1968 to teach at Mt. Douglas High. After a short stint back in England, Dave and Liz returned to Shawnigan Lake, BC with their family where he taught for 20 years at Shawnigan Lake School.
