October 28, 1957 – June 6, 2016
Stewart has passed away too soon, after a short tragic battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his sons, Wesley and Michael, who meant the world to him; Jan Lageri; brothers, Rod Lageri and Scott Chalmers; and stepfather, Colin Chalmers.
Stewart was a successful business owner of SRL Fire Protection and the construction community has lost a friend and colleague.

Donations in Stewart’s memory may be made to the Victoria Firefighters’ Burn Fund, or Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care, who provided unconditional care and support.

It’s with great sadness that I have learned of Stewart’s passing.
We had some terrific professional conversations with one another over the last decade. The Construction Community of Victoria will not be the same without him. My heart felt thoughts go out to his family.
