Robin Lyn Mee

Born in Vancouver, July 29, 1937. Adopted at birth by Clarence and Bea Flewin. She is predeceased by her husband Bryan and her brother-in-law Curt. Mom, using DNA, found she had two half sisters and one brother and reconnected in recent years. She has three children, Michele, Kerry, and Dwane, many nieces and nephews and several grandchildren. In October 2023 Mom and Dad celebrated 65 years of marriage.
Mom earned her nursing degree at St. Joseph’s school of nursing and practiced until her first child was born. As a stay-at-home mom, she was the master of all things crafting, she loved to arrange flowers and growing vegetables and flowers. Mom was proud to be a Guide/Scout Mom and she volunteered with the Esquimalt Library board for 10 years.
Mom moved with Dad, to Ghana and Jamaica, with a young family in tow and made her mark by volunteering to be a community nurse while there. At every chance, Dad and Mom travelled the world, regularly went to Bashford’s Spa in California, on cruises and had travel adventures overseas. We have fond memories of summers at the cottage at Shawnigan Lake and Mom and Dad loved to entertain family and friends whenever the opportunity arose.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Camp Shawnigan Easter Seal Camp or the Esquimalt Neighbourhood House. A celebration of life (Christmas in July), for both Robin and Bryan, will be held on July 7th, 2024, at the Gorge Park Pavilion, from 1-3PM.
