Kenneth DuBroy

December 31, 1926 – January 16, 2025

Anthony Kenneth Allan DuBroy “Ken” was born in Ottawa, Ontario, son of Allan Alfred DuBroy and Selina Annie Rice, and died in Victoria, BC at 98 years old.

Ken was the cherished husband of Denise Laurin; father of Claire, Linda, Philip, Suzanne, Louise, Cecelia, Evelyn, Carolyn and Allan;
brother of Harold DuBroy; brother-in-law of Armande Laurin (Harold DuBroy); Idas Laurin and Cécile Servais; Muguette Laurin and Aimé Barrette; Gaëtan Laurin and Cécile Quesnel; Cécile Laurin and Frank Graham; and Gisèle Laurin and Orville Sauvé; and he is remembered by many grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ken was a photographer and cinematographer with Agriculture Canada; a veteran of World War 2; and a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Interment to follow in Ottawa. Contact family for further information.

  8. I met Ken when he was a resident at Ross Place Retirement. I drove the bus and worked in the recreation department. I remember him as a gentleman and a lovely man who was liked by everyone at Ross Place.
