Don passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospice on July 7, 2017 at the age of 68.
He battled his cancer with courage and faced his death with optimism, love and support – still learning, still growing and grateful. He was not in pain and he was not alone.
His last weeks were filled with thought, hope, love and denial and would probably be baffled he didn’t think to write this himself beforehand.
Born August 5, 1948 in Edmonton, Alberta, he retired from truck driving to Victoria where he felt most at home.
He is survived by his two sons and daughter, Chad, Craig and Robin.
In all ways unforgettable and always missed, always alive in our memories.
