Christena Grace Van’t-Haaff

In Memorial
On April 8th, 2017, Christena (Tena) left us all too soon at the age of 44.
Tena was born in Prince George, BC on August 10th, 1972 but spent most of her life in Victoria, BC, where she touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her wonderful daughters Jessica and Samantha, and their father Ronald Van’t-Haaff.
Tena leaves behind her sisters, Crystal (Marty) Philps, Deanne (Daryl) Johnson, Amanda Tabert and Thereysa Tabert and predeceases her parents Judy Brook and Brian Tabert.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends.
Tena was a most caring and generous person, with an infectious smile and joyous laugh that were immediately uplifting to anyone around her.
Her beauty and spirit live on in her girls, of whom she was so proud.  May she rest in peace.

  1. Your mom was amazing, she was so generous with her love and caring. She was incredibly quick-witted and loved to laugh. She loved you girls more than anything….ever more than Christmas. I loved I thought she was brave and amazing… the joy and sparkle she add to everything she did was amazing. The world is a sadder place without her in it. ♡
