October 17, 1943 – March 29th, 2025
Born in Victoria, BC, Brian R. Boyd passed away peacefully in the night. He was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Freda Boyd, and by his wife, Nola. Brian is survived by his brother, Steven Boyd, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember him with deep affection.
Brian was a quiet soul, a man of few words but rich in heart and character. He had an understated sense of humor and a strong work ethic that defined much of his life. A true outdoorsman, Brian found joy and peace in the water—whether he was fishing, diving, or simply enjoying the shoreline. He also loved to go for walks, often taking time to appreciate the little things around him.
In his later years, Brian made his home at the Alexander Mackie Lodge, where he enjoyed a renewed sense of connection and companionship. He formed meaningful friendships and was especially grateful to reconnect with his younger cousin, Debra. Those closest to Brian extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Alexander Mackie for their kindness and dedicated care.
Brian will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
