Bonnie Lynn Tate (nee Turner)

April 4, 1948 North Vancouver BC – Sept 5, 2015 Victoria, BC.
Bonnie Tate, beloved Mother, Grandmother, sister and Aunt, passed away suddenly but peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, Sept 5, 2015 at the age of 67 in Victoria, BC after a short illness.
Bonnie has lived her entire life in BC, growing up in Youbou then moving to North Vancouver with her family as a teen. As an Adult Bonnie moved to Squamish and then back to the Island in 1989 to Victoria where she resided for the rest of her life. Bonnie enjoyed her career in the banking industry until she retired. During Bonnie’s spare time, she enjoyed, bowling in her younger yrs, Dancing and country music. After Bonnie’s retirement, she enjoyed sitting on her deck and tending to her flowers as well as spending as much time as possible with family and friends!
Bonnie is survived by her children, Tammy (Delton) Millar of Spruce Grove, AB., Jordie (Ashley) Tate of Spruce Grove, AB., her Grandchildren Brittany Millar of Spruce Grove, AB., Courtney (Caleb) Millar of Spruce Grove, AB., her Great-Grandchildren Sage Johansen and Lincoln Seeton, her Sister Sharon Bell, her sister in-law Susie Turner, her half Brother Sandy Turner, her Step-Mother Janet Turner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bonnie is predeceased by; her Mother Mary Croft, her Father Alex Turner and her Brother Danny Turner.
Funeral service and Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, (Esquimalt Dock Yard Branch 172 at 622 Esquimalt Rd Victoria BC) on Sunday, September 13th, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.

    To all of Bonnie’s family, our sincere condolences. Bonnie was my sister in law for many years and although we didn’t see each other very often, living at opposite ends of the country, when we did see each other it was always a time filled with laughter and good times. Rest in peace dear Bonnie. You will be missed!
