Andrea Brice

Andrea Brice (nee Migneault) was born on April 8, 1971 in Calgary, AB to Wayne and Maria Migneault and passed away on December 3, 2023 in Victoria BC at the age of 52 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving husband Brent; sons Tanner and Billy; her parents Wayne and Maria; her sister Paula; her brother Anthony; her nephew Ryan and nieces Michelle and Kiana .

After spending her early childhood in Calgary, Andrea spent some time living with her grandma Georgette on the family farm in Lethbridge, AB.  It was there that she developed her strong work ethic and love of animals.  In early adulthood she moved west to Victoria, BC with her young son Tanner.  Soon after she started what would become a 26 year long career at Il Terrazzo where she made lifelong friends with many coworkers and clients.  In January 2001 she met her soulmate Brent and they were married in April 2005.    The next decade involved 3 homes with major renovations on each and the arrival of their son Billy in November 2009.

Andrea had a passion for the outdoors.  She loved taking the dog for a hike, surfing, enjoying local beaches and everything else the west coast has to offer.  She also loved gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Andrea will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

A Celebration of Andrea’s Life will be held at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, 1175 Beach Drive, Victoria BC on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Condolence Messages

  1. Andrea’s absence leaves a profound void in our lives. Her kindness, laughter, and warmth touched us all deeply. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort. My heartfelt condolences to my friend Brent and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

  2. I had the privilege of working with Andrea or “Bocelli” as we affectionately called her, at Il Terrazzo. She truly encompassed a radiant, easy energy. Our lives crossed paths again over a decade later in a healthcare setting where I now work. She remained kind, warm and easy to talk to. Deepest condolences to her family, she was one in a million.

  3. Bocelli, I worked along side her beaming smile as a hostess at Il Terrazzo and will always remember her huge presence, laughter and big mom hugs. She lived her life full of energy, adventure, loved her family above all and always stayed in touch years after I moved on. May she rest in eternal peace watching over her boys & Brent as an angel. My sincere condolences for all. She will be forever missed.

  4. Truly one of the kindest humans out there. She will be missed

  5. Growing up, Andrea was instrumental in helping me become the person I am today. I will forever be grateful for her, and her family’s, kindness, compassion and love.

  6. I worked with this beautiful soul and she left a lasting impression on my heart. I have thought of her often and it breaks my heart that this world will now be without her. My condolences to the boys. Every single person who has ever met her has been changed for the better for knowing her, even if only for a short while. We love you.

  7. Jenni Sidhu & Family

Sending all our love to you Brent, Tanner and Billy. She was such an incredible woman and we will miss her terribly. She was the first Saanich Wife to welcome me to the club and I always looked forward to her gorgeous smile and catching up with her at events. Know that she is with all of you, forever.

  8. My love, my love. I’ve sat here for hours trying to think of the words. You loved gossip, but have never said a bad thing about anyone that you have known. Your boys are your soul, and Brent is your soul mate! You’ve loved your family harder than anyone! I would work with you 5 days a week, but on day six, we would still shut a restaurant down chatting! I will never know another one like you. Memories of us dancing with Gramma on your wedding day, Tanner with his bananer! lol! One of the best humans that I’ve ever had the privilege to call my bestie. Huge love to all of you. xoxo

  9. So sad, she was a lovely person. Brent, Tanner and Billy, my deepest sympathy.
