December 2, 1927 – May 11, 2016 Born in Grays, UK he married Margaret in 1953 for 63 wonderful loving years. After a successful banking career and extensive travel, in 2000 they emigrated to join their son Chris and daughter-in-law Jessie, moving to Sidney in 2009. Ever generous and witty, he passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital. Service at St Michaels All Angels, West Saanich Road 11:30 on Friday 20th. No flowers please. Continue reading

William “Bill” Simpson

April 2, 1943 - April 28, 2016 " A Kind Soul " who met every eye with respect" An Irish lad with the Traveling Gene. Bill grew up number 5 of  6 children in a working class family. His father a bricklayer and mother, an avid reader and poet. Kicking stones as a child, resulted in being "scouted" by an English Football Club as a teenager.
