December 2, 1927 – May 11, 2016 Born in Grays, UK he married Margaret in 1953 for 63 wonderful loving years. After a successful banking career and extensive travel, in 2000 they emigrated to join their son Chris and daughter-in-law Jessie, moving to Sidney in 2009. His father a bricklayer and mother, an avid reader and poet. Kicking stones as a child, resulted in being "scouted" by an English Football Club as a teenager.
