    Aunt Donna, Susan, and Don,

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Roger’s death. I am so happy to have had him as large part of my life, especially during seminary and now as a pastor. He was always my cheerleader! My prayers are with you as you begin the journey of grief.

    Donna,
Both Andy and I are so very sorry to hear of Roger’s passing. So many great memories of the Sooke days! Roger was a wonderful man who touched our lives with great stories and laughter. Take care, Donna. With love to you and your Family, Dianne

  3. Dear Donna,
Roger was a caring, compassionate and kind man who touched many people’s lives throughout his multi-faceted life. Deeply grateful for your and his generous sharing of your home in New Glasgow NS all those years ago to us weary travellers. Great memories that summer with your family. Roger gave me my first job in Canada as a young Vietnam war immigrant from the US at the North Winnipeg Community Action Centre where his leadership and boundless enthusiasm inspired so many. He was a special man. My sympathy to you and all your family.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. Roger had a very lasting impact on me. I never thanked him enough

  5. Donna, Susan and family, very sorry to hear of the passing of Roger. Me and my family are thinking of you at this time. Roger was a major impact on my life as I had my first job with him -he taught me skills that I carry with me to this day. Our connection continued on with my friendship with Sean and then supplying firewood.
    Thinking of you ,
    Joe Vowles
