January 21, 1951 – July 14, 2015
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Bob who left us suddenly and much too soon! Predeceased by his father, Harden, Bob leaves behind his mother, Betty; devoted wife, Dale; children, Kepmen, Trina and Carmen; brothers, Howard (Chris) and Calvin (Sarah); sister, Marisa (Al); niece and nephews, Jessie, Mitchell, Nick, Mark and Daniel; grandchildren, Trey and Lucas, a large extended family and countless lifelong friends. Bob worked for BC transit for many years. He was a devoted family member and friend who would help anyone in need. Bob loved fishing, bowling, working on cars and spending time at Lake Cowichan. We will forever love, miss and remember you, Bob.
An outdoor celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 23rd from 1 to 4 pm at 4607 Morland Road, Metchosin, BC.

Bobby was always able to “cut through the nonsense & tell it like it is”,
with a Good Laugh thrown in!
He made “The Transit Life” bearable in a lot of ways.
Always looked forward to seeing Bob & Dale @ The Lake.
Our Memories of “Bobby Stories” will always bring a Smile.
One of the last of “The Good Guys”!
Our Thoughts & Prayers are with the Family.

I lost track of Bob, and he of me, as we grew into our twenties. As teens, he’d trade me his Datsun 510, all kitted out, for the use of my BSA chopper style motorbike for weekends.
Although I haven’t seen Bob for years and years, I think of him often, and the fun we had talking about cars and motorbikes and getting a taste of each other’s automotive passions.
Bob was a great guy, and my memories of him will stay with me always.
I hope that the life time of memories you all must have of him will warm your hearts forever more whenever you think of him.
God bless.
Philip Nyren
boyhood chum

Hard to believe that Bob is gone. Knew him since we were in our teens, he was a close friend to my ex-husband, Dave Eburne. Bob was an usher in our wedding party. There were a lot of good memories. He was full of wit, sometimes dry, a twinkle in his eye. God’s speed, Bob! See you when we get there.

Dear Howard and family,
Your brother Bob was a truly genuine, honest hard working man with not only a gift for working with anything mechanical, cars/trucks , RV’s boats. He also had a wonderful set of people skills and sense of humour, whether it be on the busses or with his customers and friends. I always admired Bob’s skill and accomplishments. For a young man, he had the good old school mentality He will be missed by all, I am sure.
Sincerely,
Leigh and Carol
