Sad to hear that Pete passed. He was an uncle to me and I’ll remember all the love you gave me. Thanks for teaching me all those card games and never letting me win at crib! ????But I’m sure him and my dad are having a blast together somewhere.

Condolence from Kathy Budzyn (Hope) on October 28th, 2019 9:34 pm

I am so sorry I didn’t get to spend time with Pete in these later years. We spent so many “Late” nights playing euchre and crib and I will always remember his smile, his smirk, his crooked glasses and his sense of humour. We had so many really great times….and lots of laughs around the table.
The game will go on….you will be missed.

Peter had a kind heart and was a very compassionate person, I worked with him in the CPP world for many years and appreciated his sincerity and genuine nature. He had a fun personality and I’m sorry he has gone so soon. I hope he and Kathleen are somehow together again, enjoying gardening in the sun. Here’s to both of you! Caroline.

Condolence from Ron Rhode on October 29th, 2019 3:45 pm

I will always remember the many good times we shared and the daily talks we had during our breaks. Pete was a very fair & caring person and always put his employees first. He was an accomplished card player, especially cribbage, and loved playing cards whenever he had the chance. I’m sure he’s still gingling some of my lose change, from times gone by!
Rest in piece my friend and I hope you are in a better place now.
Ron

When he and I were boys and young teens, we were best of friends as well as cousins. Time and our lives came between us and I never knew him after that. We had almost no contact after our 1975. Last time I saw him was very late in 2017, and we didn’t have a heart connection. To have known a person so well at one time and to have lost the feelings, is not unusual in life, I suppose. But I grieve for the might-have-beens.

Peter was my cousin and a friend. We lived together in our grandparents house for a number of years in our twenties. We kept in touch when he moved west and still shared a laugh over the phone several times yearly. I will miss him a lot and treasure the many good times we had together.
