Michael Andrew Deyme

Michael Andrew Deyme, in his 54th year, passed away peacefully at home in Victoria BC on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, with his loving wife of 27 years, Connie Woolner, by his side, following five years of health struggles. His passing leaves a deep sadness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Michael will be dearly missed by his son Hunter, who will forever carry his father’s love and quiet strength. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Anne Deyme (Cox), as well as his mother- and father-in-law, Gayle and Ray Spencer, who embraced him as family.

He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law, John and Wayne, and his close friend of many years, Martin, who will always cherish the memories and laughter they shared.

Michael had a deep love for the outdoors. He was passionate about computers and possessed a remarkable talent for mathematics. Those who met him were drawn to his likable nature, gentle humour, and easygoing warmth.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald Deyme (2010), and his father-in-law, Richard Woolner (1999).

In keeping with Michael’s wishes, there will be no service. Those who wish to honour his memory may make a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, a cause close to his heart.

Michael’s life was marked by devotion to his wife and son. His memory will be held with gratitude and love by all who were blessed to share in his life.
