It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Payter, at her residence in Victoria BC, peacefully with her family at her side, on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Best friend and true love of over 58 years of Alan Payter. Proud and loving mother of Robert (Lori), Richard (Barbara), Lynne (Simon) and Andrew (Licia) . Cherished Grandma and Nana of Bevan and Kate, Adam (Kaitlyn), Brittany and Paul and Nicole and Faith. Precious Great Nana to Sophie.
Margaret will be remembered by many family and friends. Cremation will take place. In honor of Margaret’s wishes, there will be no service.

Mom….I miss you. You are no longer suffering. That is what I have to remember. It eases my pain. I love you so very much. You will forever be in my heart.

Al, Robert, Richard, Lynne, Andrew and families,
Sending my condolences in the passing of a wonderful and caring woman. She has passed on to a better place where she has been met by my family, Jack, Dorothy, John, Phil and David. Her suffering has ended, but her memory will be cherished by family and friends.
I remember when she emigrated to Canada to join Al and start raising her family in Stratford. I baby sat Richard and Robert and got to know the family.

To Al & family,
I had mixed emotions when I learned of Marg’s passing. You have lost a wonderful wife and mother but based on my own experience, I know she is no longer suffering from her illness and is now at peace.
She is now in a good place and you will all move on but cherish many fond memories.

Al Rob. Rich. Andrew. Lynn. And girls
It was with heavy heart to hear the news of Margs passing.
She was a great friend-Mother-Grandmother-Great Grandmother.
She spoke of her family proudly. We had a lot of great times to gather and feel proud to have known marg.
Mike& I will never forget her as she was a great person.

Dear Al & Family: You all remain in our thoughts as the days pass since we said goodbye to Marg. She was very much a Family person; always family first. Over the years, we treasured our friendship with her & your family. We will not forget Marg. Our deepest sympathy to you all, Joyce & Frank.
