Posted By Pacific Coast Cremation On March 11, 2020 @ 11:11 am In Obituaries | 2 Condolences

It is with great sadness that the family of Lynn Mouner announces her passing on March 6th, 2020  at the age of 72 yrs.

Lynn was born on July 1, 1947 in Duncan, B.C., the eldest of four daughters of Ken and Grace Hyham, both of whom predeceased her. Lynn grew up in Chemainus before moving to Cumberland, and finally Cedar, where she resided for the last 35 years. She will be dearly missed by her three sisters and their husbands (Lois and Waldemar Heckel, Maureen Hyham and Allan Auringer, and Jan Hyham and Len Appleby). Lynn was also very fond of her nieces and nephews (Kieran and Karissa Appleby, Cole and Alana Auringer, and Julia and Darren Heckel) as well has her great nieces and nephews, Mila, Lena, Gemma, Alexander and Jacob, about whom she was pleased to get daily updates from her sisters.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later date. We would like to thank the Nanaimo emergency unit, the Victoria General neurological unit as well as the I.C unit for the wonderful care of Lynn. Lynn’s neighbour and friend, Susie, was a constant source of help and support. Lynn will be remembered for her beautiful dark eyes, quick laugh, her love of music and dancing and her fondness for the many dogs that she owned.

Condolences for the family of “Lynn Roberta Mouner”

Condolence from Karen St.Cyr on March 23rd, 2020 2:51 pm

I am so sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. Lynn joined our Cedar Social Striders group a few years back. Our small neighbourhood group walked every Friday for exercise and companionship. Lynn was a cherished member with an infectious laugh and a generous heart. She will never be forgotten. Always in our hearts.

I remember Lynn when she would come to our home for her weekly piano lesson, taught by my late wife, Darlene. I remember her as a sweet, gentle lady…she would sometimes stay for a cup of tea after her lesson and chat with us for a while. I remember also going to high school in Chemainus, BC with her sister Lois. May she rest in peace…my condolences to her family and friends…
