Joyce (Joy) Violet Whyte, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 6, 2021 at the age of 87. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Edward Whyte, of 68 years of marriage: 4 loving daughters Karen (Greg) Loewen, Debra (Dave 2019) Jennings, Penny (Ken) Johns, Tammy (Alex) Kundakcioglu, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Joy is survived by her sisters Pearl, Marie and brother Kelly. Predeceased by her brother Eric and sister Diane.

Joy, a nurturing mother of a very close knit family who instilled great morals and values to her daughters, was the glue that brought the family together to celebrate Christmas, enjoy camping and traveling. Joy was very involved in her daughters’ lives through highland dancing, music and sports as well as the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joy will be profoundly missed.
