My heart is heavy that you are yet again dealing with a loss of a parent. I’m sure it is comforting to know she is resting now. I hope in time the memories will once again bring a smile to your face.

My deepest sympathy at your loss of a beautiful person.
She will be missed and there will be misty moments when
you come across triggers, but that is because you love her
and she will see this from where she is now and this will
make her warm. Betty was a warm and gentle person and
is famous for her Betty-Elizabeth salad which quickly
became a family traditional dish at special dinners. We will always be reminded of her at future family dinners as we enjoy her dish.
Her son is the only offspring I have met but by what I see in Darrel,,
Betty did a very good job raising her children, Darrel
is a good person and offered the best of care for his Mom during
her struggles with failing health. I am proud to have Darrel as a
son-one-law, a wonderful legacy for Betty.

The loss of a parent is a hurt that you never quite get over. That space is can’t be filled again but does get easier to deal with as each day passes. My hope is that you remember your wonderful memories of your mom and feel blessed for all the time you shared with her. I never met her but I’m sure she loved you very much and was a proud mother. Take care in the days, weeks and times ahead xoxo

So happy I got to meet her. She was so sweet. I could tell she loved Kenny, what a special memory to have her give him such a huge hug and a smirk with a wink only a few weeks ago. So sorry for your loss Darrel 🙁 love you lots.

AUNTIE
Was a big part of my life moving from Sask to Quesnel and living with them for quite awhile
When they moved south we didn’t see as much of them but always kept in touch
Stopped in to vist her last summer and enjoyed our time together ,laughed ,cried ,hugged and talked a lot . I could see her health was failing and age was creeping up but she had a strong faith and trusted that Jehovah would be with her in her last days .
Her hope was that her family would be there to welcome her back to a life on earth free of sickness and dying ,which was Jehovahs purpose for the earth in the very beginning as is recorded for us in Genesis
Let’s all work hard to be there to hug and welcome her home
