She loved dancing, music, theatre, camping, carpet bowling and their annual fishing derby. Known for her themed birthday parties, she enjoyed entertaining family and friends with magicians and ventriloquists. Dodie treasured time with family, friends, beloved pets and her grandchildren who lovingly called her Nana. She will be greatly missed.

My first job at the Provincial Government was with Dodie as my supervisor in a house on Government Street. I learned so much from her and we had some great laughs. It wasn’t like work.
She loved her family. My condolences to all of you and may you all have great memories to share. Sincerely, Jan Hemming

Condolence from Brenda & Dave Arnold on January 31st, 2021 1:03 pm

Adrienne, Wayne, Lynne and Carol & families. We were so sorry to hear of Dodie’s passing. She was a great friend and our camping and fishing derby adventures with both Dodie and Lloyd were some of the best memories. We’ve missed Dodie over the past few years but remember our visits and calls fondly as well as their Christmas Sing Alongs with so many of their family and friends. Both Dodie and Lloyd were integral parts of the Victoria Horseshoe Club as well, with the Father’s Day Tournament one of the most popular each year. Dave and I send our heartfelt sympathy as well as so many friends from the Greater Victoria Horseshoe Club.
