It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the sudden, unexpected passing of Barry Douglas MacDonald in the early hours of December 21, 2025.
Barry’s final home was living on a boat with his best friend and partner for five years. Barry was a top notch Captain and loved boating.
Barry’s life was lived fully and he loved adventures and travel. When he was younger, he was a successful international model, actor, owned his own security business, downhill skier and traveled all over the world.
Barry had so many wonderful stories to share with his many friends.
Barry had an uncanny sense of humor and was a wealth of knowledge. He was admired by many and will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace, Barry, you are now pain free.
You will never be forgotten and always be loved deeply for all you gave freely of yourself during your time here.
