William (Billy) Congdon Jr.
July 22, 1955 – October 10, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of William (Billy) Congdon Jr. on October 10, 2025, at the age of 70.
Billy was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia, on July 22, 1955, and was lovingly adopted at birth by William (Bill) and Ethel Congdon.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Billy found his greatest joy in nature—whether he was fishing, camping, or working on vehicles. He also had a creative side and loved to paint pictures, capturing the beauty he saw around him.
Billy met Holly McWhirter, and together had two sons, William and Robert. Though life took them in different directions, they remained in touch over the years. Later, Billy met and married Betty Eisert, and after many years together, they eventually went their separate ways.
Known for his kind heart and helping hands, Billy was the person you could always count on. A true handyman, he could fix or build just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family.
Billy was predeceased by his parents, William and Ethel Congdon, and his sister, Maxine Davies. He is remembered by his sons William and Robert, his grandchildren Brayden, Devon, and Kaede, and his great-granddaughter Joselyn. He also leaves behind many nephews, a great-niece, and a circle of friends who will miss him dearly.
Billy will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and quiet strength—and for the way he touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
