It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Clark announce her passing. Linda passed peacefully on March 14th after a 12 year battle with Parkinsons, she was 79. She is survived by her daughter Lilith, Grandsons Elan and Orin and sister and brother Susan and Mark.
It’s impossible to easily sum up Linda’s life in just a few sentences. She lived an extraordinary life full of love and joy, both in her career and with all of her many friends and family. She made an immeasurable impact on so many people throughout her decades long career as a clinical psychologist, initially in Kingston Ontario, and then in Victoria and Salt Spring Island through her private practices and as part of the Saanich Mental Health Youth team.
For her friends and family, we will always remember her caring and generous soul that she was always so willing to share and make heart connections with everyone that came into her life. One of her greatest loves was dancing, and her regular dance parties hosted at her house were legendary and will be missed by everyone that attended. She will also be remembered for her love of quieter pursuits, long swims across the lake, epic walks along sandy beaches and hours spent painting amazing creations.
Though she will be missed forever, she will forever remain in our hearts. We are grateful to know that she is no longer trapped in her body and is now free to dance forever amongst the stars keeping watch over all of us.

Linda was an unwavering positive person in my life. Never super close but never far. She was a mother of a friend, friend and colleague to my parents, fellow south ender and eventually neighbor. I always enjoyed the chance to say hello or stop for a chat. Club Linda was indeed a magical event. She will be missed.
