Jaye Lynn Gallagher passed away in her home on August 10, 2018 at the age of 69 surrounded by family and friends.
After battling and beating breast cancer in 2017, she sadly passed away from an inoperable form of pancreatic cancer.
Jaye’s love for books led her to a lifelong career within the library system – ending her career at the central branch of the Greater Victoria Public Library. Jaye was a truly caring soul who touched the lives of many. She was loved by everyone she met and will be missed immensely.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Bill, her children Jody (Christina) and Jennifer (Ragnar), her grandchildren Kayla, Cameron, Cheyanne and Danickah, her sister Coral, her niece Siobhan and nephew Duncan.
A small private memorial party will be held on September 15, 2018.

We always enjoyed Jaye’s company whenever we were together. She had a great sense of humour and I always loved reading her posts on Facebook. They were always funny and/or thought provoking.
