Monika lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 22, 2017 with family and friends at her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Douglas. She is also survived by sons Fred Muntau (Shelly), Peter Kubke (Jenny Rose), step-sons Jay O’Connor (Lisa), Robert O’Connor (Carey), Kevin Logie (Heather), Jeff Logie (Angela). Omma will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Hannah, Julian, Kalis Ra, Duke Enzo, Kyle, Kiera, Kylie, Emma, Evan, Brett, Jessica, Blair, Alex, Ameera, and Blake. She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law Luana Heider.

Monika and Doug held a Celebration of Life on August 11th to share memories with family and friends.
