It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lee Gordon Hurd, who died peacefully at home in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, on April 7, 2025, at the age of 96 after a brief illness. Born 16 July 1928, and raised in Turner Valley, Alberta, Lee graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
